Cookie Notice
Last updated: 31 August 2026The short version
lokuvatech.org sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no session storage, no consent banner and nothing stored in your browser by us. That is why you were not asked to accept anything when you arrived.
Why there is no banner
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), consent is required before storing information on, or reading information from, a visitor's device — except where it is strictly necessary to provide a service the visitor asked for. We store nothing at all, so there is nothing to consent to. A banner asking permission for cookies that do not exist would be theatre.
The one third-party request
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and
fonts.gstatic.com). Google Fonts does not set cookies when used this way,
but making the request does reveal your IP address and browser to Google, which is
processing you may prefer to avoid.
You can block both domains in a browser extension, a network-level blocker or your hosts file. The site is designed to survive it: every page falls back to your system sans-serif and monospace faces and remains completely readable and navigable. Nothing else on the site is loaded from a third party — no scripts, no images, no embeds, no fonts beyond those two hosts.
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs — IP address, timestamp, requested file, user-agent — as part of serving and securing the site. These are not cookies and are not used to profile visitors or for marketing. See the privacy notice for how that information is handled.
What would change this
If we ever add something that does set a cookie — a booking tool, an embedded video, an analytics package — we will publish it here first, list it by name and purpose, and ask for consent before it loads. We will not quietly add tracking and update the small print afterwards.
Client projects are a separate matter
This notice covers this website only. Websites and applications we build for clients often do need cookies and tracking, and we set those up with a proper consent mechanism appropriate to the client's obligations under PECR and the UK GDPR. That configuration belongs to the client and is documented in their own cookie notice.
